  Absolutely. I remember taking someone to task a while back for complaining that an unemployed guy was out playing skittles. I asked if they expected him to sit at home with the curtains closed until he found work. He was job-hunting strenuously but because he was also living a life he was villified. Apart from the obvious crap, it matters that people job hunting maintain a positive outlook - it helps them to find work!
