"Who are you going to vote for in the Kent County Council elections?"
This Is Kent has revealed in their county-wide poll that 63% of people intending to cast their ballot will vote UKIP.
Labour 15%, Conservative 10%.
LibDem 3%,
Only 2% will vote for an independent candidate.
I mistakenly placed my vote for the Official Monster Raving Loony Party.
See link here and place your vote in the poll for Kent County elections.

i wouldn't place too much credence in that alex, only people who visit their website can vote and there is no restriction on how many times people can vote.
they even had a vote on the best cafe in dover.

Come on, Barry, UKIP have two thirds of the votes.
If you disagree, place your preference in the poll! It would make a difference.
This is a fair way to determine who will win the coming County elections.
Enjoy the excitement:
The This is Kent poll is up and running and I'm really looking forward to see who wins!
I don't believe it will be either Labour or Tory.

Howard, I believe there is a restriction on how often you can vote on This Is Kent. It is once only.

Get serious Alexander
My prediction
Conservatives will hold control;
but many seats will fall to labour and the lib dems
but the lib dems in other seats also lose ground by losing there marginal seats
Farrage who predicted he would win (soz ukip would lol) at least 2 seats dont get any
he then goes on tv stating how he came second in some seats claiming it a victory lol

i think everyone accepts that the blues will have their usual massive majority, just a question of whether ukip get some seats.
i think they may.

Is there any alternative poll for the Kent county elections?
Anyone who comes across one, please let us know.
I've one hundred percent conformation you can only vote once on This Is Kent, as with online polls in general, which use cookies to prevent double votes. So it appears a genuine snapshot of voters' intentions.
As said, my tick went to Raving Loonies. This party has 2%, meaning they've attracted 20% the support: of the Conservatives

Alex the only poll which means anything is the one held on the day at a polling station near you.

Opinion polls, Peter, is what I meant.
Most people base their vote on election day on opinion polls, so as not to give a wasted vote.
Hence it will be interesting to see how this evolves.
Anyone supporting a specific party prior to the elections would immediately place their preference on that party in an opinion poll so as to convince others it is popular and worth voting for.
They'd also ask their like-minded supporters to do the same.

I've just voted twice, all you have to do is delete the cookie.

OK Colin, but the majority of people won't go through the problem of deleting cookies so as to vote more than once on an online opinion poll. So the one here is still valid. Currently 61% in Kent would vote UKIP.
Labour now at 14% is still doing stronger than Tories, 11%.
Keith S' predictions are proven dismally wrong. Sorry Keith

Very true Brian
The poll Alexander loves quoting means nothing, using Colin's example any UKIP member can vote numerous times should they choose. Having said that I suspect many disenchanted voters will use UKIP as a protest vote much as LibDems were used in the past.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Three votes for other parties on this site altered the UKIP percentage downwards by 2% - just for kicks
