  Barryw did give a very simplistic view, but it is far wider that all of that.
  
  
  many in the labour party would approve of corporal punishment and even the extremes like the birch/hanging etc.
  
  many within the labour party would oppse political correctness in many forms
  
  on the whole there is a mixed bag out there.
  
  for many issues labour and conservative can be seen to be alike, but thats because of any policies but more to do with peoples memories of the MP's expenses scandal, where eyes were opened and people struggling to survive don't forget.
  
  There are not many issues that barryw and I would ever agree on, but one or two subjects we can come close on.
