    Howard, you have gone from 'hearing that they were getting off with a caution', to being told that they were 'getting off full stop', to 'derisory sentences...' What is it to be? What is the latest you have heard from your imaginary informant..?

    Even if the main offenders serve just 15 months in prison that's 1 x Christmas, 1 x Birthday of loved ones and their children, numerous bank holidays, summer holidays and even 1 x World Cup.Hopefully it will allow them a decent amount of time to reflect upon their actions.

    All-in-all, this is a satisfactory conclusion to a horrendous incident. As I understand it, no cctv was shown to the court which would indicate that no cctv of the incident was available, despite your earlier uninformed post Howard... The three offenders pleaded guilty at the first opportunity, no doubt as a result of the evidence against them - well done Port of Dover Police..!
