Going to try to pin this down....
Unslightly.....blocks the very nice plaque etc...for Charley's Walkway...however, a nice piece of history...which the tourists try to look at
recording the fact that Charles 11...landed here or thereabouts to reclaim his kingdom....remember this was the first time these Islands had tried a Republic under Cromwell.......So much history here, and so wasted.
It has flowers planted here, but you cannot see them....and, if you take the trouble to walk along to the pier...this box is totally out of keeping...
What Use Now?.....if I say, people were enquiring on Sunday, to the lady sitting inside...looking very bored...what was the activity on top of the Western Heights...."no idea"....she replied, then got up and locked up!! drove away....

Do we go to the Councillor for Pier and Town...Mr Jim Hood? or what...because, if nothing is said, or complaints made......nothing will be done...and it is a monster.
