Well, having scored late in the game to equalise against Dover East Thurruck travel now to Dover for the replay tommorow night.
This is probably not good for Dover for a number of reasons;
1; Dover is getting behind in league fixtures and a fixture pile up
2; Dover play in the important F A Cup on saturday at MK Dons and now have the risk of players getting injured
3; The Dover manager will now be thinking whats important to the club? does he, weaken the side tommorow night in the
hope of still getting through, and saving a few players for saturday? of course there are dangers with this as this could
result in Dover getting knocked out of the trophy, a cup that Dover could probably go far in.
or just put a strong side out and hope for the best.
the dilema of doing well lol
COME ON YOU WHITES!!!!!!

Comfortable win at a very cold Crabble, strongest team out and no apparent injuries. Leamington won their replay and will be our next opponents at Crabble on the 14th December, Wembley beckons

Now Sue of course I will be there, I will keep a look out for you but I doubt you will be behind the goal with us.
Have a good day and lets hear you shouting out for the lads and by the way we are in our Yellow and Green strip today the MK Dons are in white so Sue you need a hat with yellow and green in it.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a nice big win.
Just seen this, I did not realise Vic was a "superfan" and glad Sue managed to get the appropriate black and white scarf.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

So having travelled to Milton Keynes, I hope this is a brief unbiased report of the game;
The first half saw Dover have few chances and most of the play down Dover's end, and better finishing could well have seen Dover behind.
but Dover went in 0-0 at half time, and were gaining in confidence all the time.
In the second half Dover came forward a lot more putting MK Dons under a lot more pressure, and the MK Dons keeper certainly struggled alot of the time.
A lack of concentrate in the Dover defense allowed MK Dons to score what was to be the only goal of the game.
The second half was far more end to end, and Dover had a number of chances to get that equaliser, but MK dons also had chances and missed some real sitters.
Dover without doubt matched MK Dons who are over 70 places above them in league places, and must have felt relieved to have got to the final whistle.
With a crowd of over 4,000 and 1,089 of them from Dover today should be seen as a learning curve for Dover
The fans were fantastic getting behind the team, although MK Dons are going through a sticky patch the fans did little to lift the,, even when they were ahead.
The Dover fans were elecrtric before the game, during the game, and after the game.
Dover should be proud of there performance today
they should take a lot of positives from this game,
THE CLUB DID ITSELF PROUD.

A fair report there Keith.The Dover fans were electric behind their team all the time.Considering MK Dons are so much higher in the league ..Dover did well.What an experience to play in such a vast stadium,I was certainly on the edge of my seat at times.Well done Dover and all the real fans.

A good report Keith and I agree in that the team did them selves proud. I am glad you enjoyed the day Sue and there wore your scarf, keep it handy we are still in the FA Trophy and the Kent Senior Cup.

Lets hope some of the 1000 plus that went yesterday turn up at Crabble Tuesday night as we get back to league action against league leaders Bromley.

Could not agree more Martin but I have my doubts even though we will be playing Bromley who are top of the League.
