14:1169740I've mostly been listening to the Dirty Projectors 'The Getty Address' which I saw them play at the Barbican a couple of months ago.

14:1969742CMP. Pop me an e-mail. Take care.
In the mean time Dirty Projectors are ace. Excellent drummer. My eldest daughter found them 'difficult' but that's what you get with a PPE from Oxford.

17:1469782Have been mostly sacking idiots, re-writing contracts to reflect real life, and extracting apologies from service providers. I know how to live - giving it large around the laptop.........

17:4669794Had another run over Deal today on the bus. Had a full breakfast at the recently opened Clock House cafe in the town centre, and back later for a fresh coffee. Highly recommended place if you`re over there, very pleasant young ladies serving. When going round to South street for the bus back, there was a Kent Hop Travel bus waiting there, and we caught that one back to Dover instead of the regular National, but to our surprise, it went via Martin Mill, Guston, and Burgoyne Height`s, and at times via extremely narrow country lane`s. Saw so much that would be generally missed by driving the car. This bus company has only three buses a day on this service, and anyone can use them with their concessionary or megarider ticket`s. Turned out sunny at lunchtime and early afternoon. A very enjoyable day.

17:5669799That`s right Howard, and I had a good natter to the young driver who was quite enthusiastic with his job. Something you usually find more of in a smaller concern. Have to do it again sometime.

18:2269812I have caught that bus back from Deal and as you say it is an interesting journey. We met a lorry on one of those narrow lanes, he had to reverse up a cart track.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

19:2969834these services run all over kent subsidised by k.c.c., great fun for us to ride on but a lifeline to a lot of people in rural locations.
the timetables for local services can be seen at the bust stop outside the magistrates court in pencester road.

09:3669915Had a quiet day yesterday which included taking the dog for a spin in Kearsney Gardens. In the evening played in a simultaneous pairs tournament at Canterbury Bridge club, and then imbibed a pint of Adnams in the Jackdaw at Denton.

16:5969972Today I am mostly getting ready to chuck streamers over my telly whilst watching the last night of the proms. Any one in the London Road area might very well hear a slightly(!) inebriated rendition of Land of Hope and Glory being sung at about ten fifteen.
