As I am cuting back on my garden,I have already gave away over 150pots with plants, still one or to to go,but I have now done a makeover of my shed, and at this time my greenhouse has all the gear in it,but that will be all out over the nextweek or two, thenI am giving my greenhouse away free just like the plants size is 6ft by 5ft so if you would like it and can take it down and away please do so,if not then it goes to the tip,I am having a small sunhouse put up in its place.Thank you, after that it the big cut back on my council work and siting back and taking it easy with my great wife.

As in that great songby the big "O" Its over now" and the other song by the great Frank" But I done it my way".

Good for you Vic.
If the Greenhouse is not visible from the road you may get many viewers before you get a taker. Why not put a photo or two up?

Vic, you might find this free to join site of use in the future I have used this group for years and it is amazing what people offer as well as take. I think your greenhouse would be in great demand.

You are not just "giving it away". You are doing and paying nothing to have it dismantled and taken away, which is a bonus for you. It may not seem like much of a bonus if you end up leaving your every meal to escort a 'viewer' round the back to here him say, "oo-ah, it's a bit more work than I thought", "tut-tut, but it's higher than I had hoped/not as tall as I hoped" etc. etc.
It may be to your distinct advantage to attract one person that only wishes to know when it would be convenient for him to return to cart it away. But, I sure you like meeting lots of people.

That is not how the system works Tom.
You advertise what you are giving and then pick who you want to give the item to from any email replies, then arrange collection which is suitable to both parties.
These groups are all around the country some are called Freecycle some are Freegle.

Dearest Jan,
You can be readily forgiven for thinking me the very bees-knees at this typing lark, but alas it is not so. In the three minutes that (may) have elapsed between #4 and #5 you might well imagine that I read and was responding to what you wrote, but no.
+there are also a wide selection of 'stuff' available, through Gumtree.co.uk, throughout Kent.
BUT!!! As Vic is reluctant to post pictures here, your suggestion (valid as it is) may not get the old 'duffer' further on.

That is a shame Vic when there are so many who would love a greenhouse or even just the glass.

Well it is half gone they are coming back for the rest tomorrow,I am very glad that is going to a home,I do not like taking anything to tip that can be used again, now we can order the sunhouse get it up before the bad weather sets in,I will need to get some one to put it for me,I can not do anying like that anymore ,I would like to put it up with my wife like last time but my fitness is not like it was and I can not do work like that anymore.

Most of the plants etc gone aswell,so soon I will have more time to play my Guitar more,we are geting there with the cords now,it will not be long before I start singing with it,again it is all going to be just for myself, I can not see myself playing in public like I done years ago or singing.Thank you.

Vic, old politicians like you, are needed more now than ever.

Very pleased to hear that your greenhouse is going to a good home, Vic. I hope your lovely plants and pots will enjoy their new homes as well.
I see you are taking up your guitar and singing again - may I ask, will your neighbours soon be enjoying new homes elsewhere too??

Thank you Maggie I play only in the daytime, only one neighbour moving from the close, and sorry to see them go ,but it is because they need a bigger house not my playing or singing.
