the usual stuff, crocuses, snowdrops, tulips, daffodils and hyacinths.

these are, I think,called 'Poppy' type anemones, wonderful colours, I love them. Varieties include 'St Brigid' or 'Mona Lisa'

Mine should be daintily cut and the Pimms to have liberal fruit therein. One can bring assorted females in colourful attire..if that helps, women always seem to jolly up an occasion!

Lovely photos all, my favourite time of year.
These primroses are on the Kent Wildlife Trust roadside nature reserve coming into Lydden from Dover. It was fenced off a few years ago and some scrub cleared and is now grazed for a few weeks each winter by Dexters and has really shown the benefit this year. To be followed by orchids on the same site in June. - 11 April 2011 11:05101120Now I am situated on the ground floor, instead of up in the air, I was able to watch a tree come into flower over the course of the first hot day last week. It was beautiful. And now I can hear birds singing in the morning and watch people go by... I love it here. Thanks to all the people who contributed the photos above, they have brightened my day.
