been a great summer events here in dover, off of the top of my head there has been the regatta, the best ever carnival, the armed forces weekend, the western heights weekend(another to come in october), the animal mania event, two concerts at the bandstand and two still to come and many other smaller things that people put on.
plenty of stuff up at the castle and in our museum during school holidays too.

Ken Tranter volunteered me for this one! Cheers Ken!
It's being organised by the local branch of the Staffordshire Regiment Association. I'm going to their next meeting on September 2nd so hopefully I'll find out more. So far it's stalls and the Gurkha Band.
There are posters about, I have told them that it might have been helpful for contact details on them.
I'll keep you posted on a new thread.

Another fantastic afternoon in the park. saw two Forumites all day. Me and Ted.
The show started with the youngest ( 10 yr olds ) and they where good.
This little chap got lost behind the keyboard playing classical, and boy could he play.
Then we went on to the teenagers and it got even better.
It's the last one next weekend, I may get to see one or two of you. Nah.

the scene at 2. 00 p.m..
how is this for a typical english scene?
the umbrellas on the right of the shot are hiding a forum member and spouse.
the chap clapping along here seemed to be "elephants trunk" to coin a medical phrase.
ian and ted will be posting some photos later.
