On Dover footy's web site the chairperson has announced that to break into the conference higher levels crowds need to increase from 700 to 1,500 weekly at home games with local derby's needing crowds of 2,000
his explanation is the higher costs, wages etc.
the chairprerson explains he at the moment is helping to keep the club afloat and whilst the club is in a healthy financial position, unless crowds increase this wont be the case, and the club would struggle should they gain promotion.
He asks,,,does Dover want a higher conference side?
he has stated he has helped to get the ground/facilities to the needed requirements, but said its up to Dover townsfolk to do there bit

VIC
This is about supporting your local team, through the good and bad times.
you should transfer your passion for Dover to the footy club and carry on attending through thick and then
the question is though, are Dovorians happy for the footy club to remain in the present league and that be there level.
or would they prefer a higher level via promotion?
turning up week in week out would help

Never put you down as a fair weather supporter Vic, through thick and thin I thought, the buggy will be waiting see you there.
Yes we need better football at home, but the season overall has not been a bad one and most teams hit bad a bad patch, which is the time when the support is needed the most.
Come on Dover up and at em, lets support our local side.

quite expensive for a family to regularly watch dover, over the course of a season they must play a lot more games than
premiership and football league sides.
