  Elizabeth, as do all monarchs when being crowned, take an oath to serve the country and people for the rest of their life. She is abiding by that royal oath. I expect her to reign until death, she is of that character.
  
  To suggest that she refused to abdicate, suggests she has been asked. Where is the evidence for this or is it just flippant tabloidism?
