    I had my voting card hand delivered here in LB Hackney last week.
    As I recall there was something of a kerfuffle here and elsewhere around the country about polling station closure and missed votes.
    I have wondered since what might be done to improve matters and note one sentence on the card that addresses this issue.
    "You cannot be issued with a ballot paper after 10pm, even if you are at the polling station before then."

    You are probably correct in what you say Vic, polling STAFF are hard working and committed to delivering on the tacit promise of bringing democracy to the people, but those in charge don't seem to see any need to accommodate the electorate and settle for further instruction.
