Ahh I cheated a wee bit above there Kath. Its actually the same seagull and the two of us shared the top floor here for many years. it was his domain and we got to know each other very well over those years. But then alas...one day last summer, as abruptly as a rock falling to earth.. he was gone...never appeared again and clearly was dead somewhere.
So I have pondered pensively on many a protracted peaceful afternoon ever since, wondering what happens to seagulls when they die. You don't see them lying about or falling from the sky...(unless hit by cars). Sigh !
