    Not really a Dover thing as our PM when Home Secretary cut budgets to police forces nationwide. Chief Constables justify their salaries and perks by concentrating on issues that hit the media rather than day to day stuff. We all remember two and a bit years ago when thugs invaded our town and brought it to a halt and when the next event happened every police person in the South of England arrived here.

    Since then they have been going through footage to bring the scumbags bang to rights and they only wound up the case last week. Dragging drunks and druggies before the courts does not gain the top brass brownie points at their lodge.
