Firstly I was not with Vic distributing leaflets, but distributed them on my own for Vic in Dover.
Secondly, I sent various emails to the chairman of UKIP Dover and Deal, dated 15 November 2010, about the Pledge, meaning the very next day after I first was informed by Mr Nuttall UKIP MEP and the Pledge office, which was 14 November).
One email included a copy of the original I received from Mr. Nuttall MEP, with his very own signature underneath and the heading, in big letters: The Pledge.
Here is one copy that I sent dated 15 November, which I just fished out of my sent box. In the sent box, the links are live, meaning that they were live links when they reached Vic. Here on the thread they do not appear live. Hence, all that was needed was for the destinatary of the copied links to open them with an instant click, nothing easier!

Dear Vic,
I have received from UKIP the request to actively campaign for a referendum on the e.u. The Party is looking for signatures. The following link has been supplied for anyone interested to sign online.
http://www.eupledge.com/sign_up_now.html.
UKIP membership is not essential in order to sign. I have been asked to send a copy of the email too to any I feel may beinterested, and will forward it to you towards this evening.
When you have read the email, could you help me by contacting by email any people you feel would be interested in signing online using the link.
We need as many signatures as possible. I will also be contacting people who I know.
The Party has asked me to help by distributing leaflets too, and I will presently contact them to sign up to do so.
This is to be a great campaign, UKIP is out to town to get things moving.
Yours sincerely.
Alexander
