I can see little difference between bosses and union leaders, they both earn a lot of money, they are both out for all they can get, both of them do not really care about those at the bottom of the ladder and certainly would not know their names.
Strikes do nobody any good in the long run, a few concessions might be won as opposed to financial problems that can last for years for the workers and sometimes the company never recovers.
Unions are good for any member that might have a specific problem but that is all.

Lighten up Keith, earlier you said you never sit on the fence, now you're saying "we may well partly agree"
Like I said, great satire.

Utter nonsense Brian, it might be what you want to happen but your prediction of the country grinding to a standstill is fantasy stuff and you know it.

David, please cut Keith a bit of slack. Obviously the poor boy is partly on the fence and partly not.

is keith sitting on the fence?
after chewing it over i think it is about 50/50 that he is and half and half that he isn't.
hopefully that will clarify the matter.

Is this what the Unions are so unhappy about?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9972691/Labour-run-town-halls-give-executives-432000-pay-offs.html
In which case I'd probably give them a toot from my car horn if I were passing by in my car.
This would make those lucky people qualify to join the top 1% and they didn't even have to suffer the travails of going to Eton or other private schools. Actually they probably ended up reading sports psychology or social studies or something as equally as useless which makes things even more poignant.

Let's face it, the Chancellor has lost the plot.
If this is what they do to a Country enjoying sunshine and rain on fair and pleasant lands (preaching Austerity till 2026), what would they do if we had natural disasters (droughts and floods)?
Surely we would be left to die!
To be honest, I would consider it treasonous to preach Austerity, and impose mass unemployment, and cause people to suffer through lack of income, or ridiculously low wages, when in reality there could be jobs for millions more people and we abound in fertile land.
And all this while the people who caused the financial crash are rolling in money and belong to the elite who are lording it out over us.
