  Quality is the issue here. The phone, while getting better, has a number of shortcomings compared to a decent camera. Perhaps the phones will wipe out the budget end of digital cameras but I do not expect it to damage longer term the quality end. I speak as someone who only uses a phone camera and I can see how inadequate it is when I photograph my models (aircraft that is, not the rather, ummm more, errrr 'motivating' type of model.....)
