I have been told that there was afew cafes in Dover that had their Windows kick in today.

Norman McNamara ran the cafe sometime probably late 1970s/80s, they lived at the time in Tilmanstone previously running the cafe at Dove's Corner there.

Ozay what time do you open on Saturday, if it is early i will probably pop in and try you out before i head off to the train station at 8.45am.

Ozay - it's a good point about sausages. There are quite a few cafes in the area as I'm sure you know. You really need something that the others don't do,e.g. solely Kentish produce, Korkers sausages, good quality bacon and so on.
Although the initial outlay may be more and you'll have to charge a bit more to cover, stories of good quality food will spread around and you'll find yourself busy.
The quality of the food in the others is all very similar, so try and think of a product that'll make you stand out from the crowd.

i like the sausages from fartinloe farm,on the large side,full of meat [70%0 and very tasty.

Yes a fine sausage is a way to a mans heart at breakfast time. Well for me it is anyway, i'm sure you could strike a deal with a local butcher or somewhere like farthingloe.

Walked past earlier and looks like it could open tomorrow.
Can anyone enlighten me on whether it will as i will pop in for Breakfast before i head off to football at 8am.

We have just come by here it is open,but my wife did not want anything to eat and no parking there so I gave it a miss this time,but will go in at some point,I also wish them well,and the big one near there also looks like it will be ready soon,hope they both can get aliving out of it

Hi all yes we opened at 7.30 this morning and had a few lovely customers both old and new, some of you had been here years ago and some never before, we are open tomorrow if anyone wants to pop by for a Sunday Roast or a cup of T and a chat you are all welcome, although it rained all day we managed to keep some of you warm and dry .......
