    TWO ANIMALS HAVE TO DIE DUE TO NEGLECT DURING TRANSPORTION TO RAMSGATE PORT:

    LIVE ANIMAL EXPORT TRADE MUST STOP



    I am appalled to hear about the disgusting treatment of animals from the Port of Ramsgate today. I understand from reports that two animals have had to be put down due to injury during transportation from Northamptonshire to Ramsgate. This is totally unacceptable and I have taken this up with the Minister and secured a meeting with him for tomorrow.



    I will bring up our grave concerns about this trade in general but our great shock at this particular event. This is the second time a transportation from Northamptonshire has been investigated by Animal Welfare.
