Can you believe it! Some of the newly laid green turf has been stolen from Connaught Park
The contractors arrived on site early one morning & discovered this with another load all rolled up presumably waiting for the thieve's return to cart off some more. Shocking state of affairs, why on earth do people do this sort of thing. Beggars belief
I am meeting with DDC early next week to devise a programme of works. They are very kindly supplying us with some materials to start work on the benches
Then, said benches will be unbolted & we will be good to go. So we are getting nearer to start date. Will let you all know when all is finally in order
