  Paul, the point of my post was that any voluntary gardening group should, in my view, be trained in organic gardening, without the use of chemical products.
  
  I say this also because I have a theory that chemical products to fight plant and tree illnesses can cause the algae or bacteria to become gradually more resistant and more powerful, so-by overcoming the natural defence systems of trees.
  
  Just a thought worth thinking over...
