I do not think so,I can talk about the park alnight, but I was just pointing that out and in away I was still talking about Connaught park most of you can only talk about the park because you are alot younger then myself or come to Dover over the years from other parts,or seen it on post cards etc.I have been here from the time I was born inthe 1940 and have seen that great park go from being a great place to take the family out ,just walking around it then was out of this world the f/beds,the pond full of fish, the cafe, the W/bone the T/ courts, play areas the park keepers no t one but afew there working 7days aweek to keep it nice and clean, all year round, and great events the council and others put on,it was the place to go and be seen in.And to what we have today a long dog walk with not much more, again it is not all down to the council but the times we live in,so just sit down and think what I am and have said, you would like to see that again, so would I,but it is how can it be done, well I have told you the only way it can be,at times like this.smaller but a great place again to bring you and your family to again. Yes Mr Watkins it is time to move on both for the park and Dover, and doing it my way will see it come, not just a dream.
