  why was it such a secret that connaught park was being run down? ok we only found out the state because colette made an issue of it and now the "mercury" has run with it.
  
  why couldn't ddc have simply said what was going on and invite community groups to get involved. the castle forum springs to mind and roger has mentioned schools.
  
  to anyone looking on it looks like the idea is to deliberately run it down so that it is rarely used then sold off to developers.
