Dear Forumites,
For those of you that have not been to see what we have been getting up to at the Thatched Barn, Great Farthingloe Farm recently, we are holding our 2nd Wedding Fayre this Sunday 18th April from 11am - 4pm, if you are free to come along or indeed if you are planning to be married and need a beautiful venue for your celebrations !
We have been very busy upgrading the whole venue and will be launching our on site accommodation at the fayre on Sunday. It will be a fun day with over 30 wedding specialists attending.
Hope you can join us,
Jane

Surely this site is not for advertising?

It may not be Diana, but the Thatched Barn are now advertisers on Dover Forum and as such should be allowed to promote their business ?
I know Jane and many who work with her and would support her all the way.
I'm just (very) sorry that I can no longer help or support them all there; I'm sure their self-catering lodge will be to the highest standards, something of which, Dover can be justly proud.
Well done Jane.

Thank you Roger and Diana for your comments. This is an open invitation for the good people of Dover to come along to see the considerable work that has been going on at the barn that will hoppefully benefit all,
Jane

Thought I would bring this back to the top as it's happening tomorrow.
The weather forecast is fantastic for the day which will add to the beautiful setting at Farthingloe.
Good luck Jane, not that you'll need luck, hope everyone has a wonderful day

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Although I'm not getting married, I'll definately come up for a nose to see what you've done to barn Jane. We have met twice before, once at the Churchill and then at the Forum do in London Road. Hope it goes well for you.

Nice to see Jane and Gill this morning, and many thanks for the tour of the farmhouse accomodation, brilliant renovation and good luck to the venture.

Terry, becoming a mussie solves the monogamy issue. If it helps, the sun rises in the East, so point your prayer mat in that direction.

Just one further thought, you could take for you mussie name, Terry Bin Hassled.

It was great to catch up with some old friends and see what a wonderful job they have all done on renovating the Barn and particularly the Farmhouse which appeared to be a bit of a tardis

Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday Jane but had been up in London for a couple of days with the girls for GMTV and now trying to catch up. Pleased to hear it all went well and I'm looking forward to seeing the newly renovated site accomodation real soon
