exactly the same scenario as the jonathan king case, all the complainants gave similar accounts despite never having met one another.

"Stuart Hall, the veteran BBC broadcaster, has been described as an "opportunistic predator" by the Crown Prosecution Service after he admitted to a string of historic sex offences against girls.
Three months after dismissing the allegations as "pernicious, callous, cruel and, above all, spurious", the 83-year-old was forced to admit that his accusers had been telling the truth.
Hall, of Wilmslow, Cheshire, first made the admissions at a brief hearing at Preston crown court on 16 April. But they could not be reported because he was facing trial over an allegation that he raped a 22-year-old woman in 1976. On Thursday it emerged that the rape case had been left to lie on the file, along with three other allegations of indecent assault.
Hall, wearing a dark blue suit and striped tie, stood in the well of the court as Judge Anthony Russell set him free on bail but told him he would pass sentence on 17 June..."

What a shame that it took so long for him to be found out. I am surprised he was allowed bail I wonder if it is usual in a paedophile case or has his age etc played a part in his release.

i sincerely hope that the judge takes the effect on the victims lives when he comes to sentence, i found this link quite harrowing.
not forgetting the 9 year old of course.

we have been over this many times keith, the last time was over chris huhne being banged up in a luxury jail. the general concensus was that he should have got double the sentence.
give the harmless community work and put the evil (like stuart hall) in a cell to rot.

ACPO want to keep suspect's names secret. If that had happened Stuart Hall would never have been charged.

I agree Terry but I have mixed feelings about suspects being named, it must be awful to have your name bandied about IF you are innocent because a little mud always sticks.
