Yes ladies and gents, sometimes Dad reads in on this , and he has a random question
The Chinese takeaway they used in River has recently changed hands, much to dads disgust as its now not soo good
so where is everyone else using?
*Sid, you and Dad used the same one...

The family always use the River shop as well, that explains why it seemed different last time I had some.
We will also try to find another for our occasional take-away.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

My favourite in Dover is the Good Luck. I won't use any other either for a sit-down meal or a takeout.

I am with you with that one we have been going in there way back to the 60s.
Still use the River takeaway. Last time out, about three weeks ago, the food was as good as ever.
Since the Moonflower changed hands, and we got a dose of food poisoning at another local Chinese eatery, we haven't eaten at a Dover Chinese restaurant since.
For curry, we only use Mr Islam's excellent emporium, The Light of India for eat-in or takeaway..

the trouble with chinese food i find, is that you eat one chop stick and a few hours later you feel like you could eat another one.

Jenni we use the Oasis at Elms Vale road, lovely food, wonderful staff and I have never seen such a clean take away - I couldn't see a speck of dust anywhere. The lady who owns it also has branches in Thanet I believe and my boss told me about her and how great her food is - he's known her for many years. Highly recommend it

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".
