  How can we continue to ignore the fact that EVERYONE who worked on those wards knew what was going on? It costs nothing to fill a water jug, to discuss patients needs with relatives, to give basic bed baths etc...
  What astounds me is that the staff, at all levels, point the finger of blame at managment and take no responsibility for the neglect. Icould not, under any circumstance, have kept my mouth shut and would have spoken to my MP and the press. I am sure that if my intentions to whistleblow had resulted in my dismissal I would have been more than happy to depart screaming my disgust from the rooftops, armed of course, with a mobile phone full of recorded pictorial evidence.
