    Sorry Keith only just spotted the question in your previous post.


    Regarding the school. To close the school at the time would not have been a good thing. My reason for this is as follows.

    Travel distance to another school for parents already perhaps on low income.

    Schools are a primary part of social gathering as well as education. To take away the school would have in my opinion had a detremental effect for some mothers who's only contact with other mothers and fathers would be via school.

    Primary schools in any area are an integral part and heart of a community, and as such play a huge role.

    The school has stayed open, which is great for all concerned, and appears to be making excellant progress.

    Please note these are my personal opinions nothing else.

    Hope that helps answer where I stand regarding the school.
