AndraZar.
Thank you very much for the wonderful photographs.
The cross in the cave
The Broken Gate
Fossilized wood
Part of a Cannon - couldn't believe that
Hidden outlooks spying on the English Channel.
The rocks the secrets captured
Amazing for many of us who played there in our youth.
Thank you. Remarkable.

Anyone considering the reverse route right now would be well advised to boot up:

Joe Pettet-Smith has been out photographing the various sound mirrors still standing around the coast, including the ones at Fan Bay. Also here are the ones at Abbot's Cliff, Hythe and Dungeness.

It would have been a good idea to add For Your Own And Others Safety Stay Away From The Cliff Edge.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

A big 'NO' to safetyism from me. Anyone who needs to be told the edges of high cliffs are dangerous will likely get a Darwin Award sooner or later in any case.
The new 'keep off the grass' signs came about as a result of NT's own money-drive. It recently extended a shortish but wide hard surface path from the visitor centre to above Langdon Hole (a couple of years old) all the way to South Foreland lighthouse. It did this because the (entirely predictable) increased footfall to the unblocked tunnels eroded the footpath. But, in characteristic authority fashion, it's your fault the path eroded.
