John is running from Dover to London over the next three days !!
Quiet at first there was at least 100 people to greet them as they arrived at the crosswall by the Lifeboat Station

Here is a couple to add to the mix taken just minutes ago...had to snatch at them because I didnt know the guy was staying in Millers ( Premier Inn)...suddenly saw the entourage walking towards me so grabbed the trusty camera...not great but thought I'd put them up anyway.
Thats him talking to the motorcyclist in black with the white triangle-ish thing on his chest.
On the phone..probably twittering. He walked on up the seafront surrounded by movie cameras etc...crew vans wizzing up and down seafront etc

Yes PaulB, JB is rather new to the television scene. He is probably still enjoying it all, but as with new-comers he gets fairly blanket coverage along with his own show on the Beeb. Re-hab cannot be far away.
Whether it's derring-do up a mountain or deep sea I often wonder at the heroic voice-overs knowing that the camera operator and other crew are way ahead of the intrepid star of the show.

email: dover7@msn.com - 29 February 2012 17:24156650The camera crews, cyclists, motorbike etc had just gone past, having held the traffic up for a couple of minutes while they tookthe clip of him the other side of the bridge that was shown on the lunchtime news.
There were quite a few groups waiting further up the hill to cheer him on and it looks like he had a good crowd at Shepherdswell too from the tv.
