    Good point Paul, maybe a strongly worded letter to the head office with a copy to your local councillor will stop them.

    The trouble is that the car/van/lorry seem to take precedence over the safety of pedestrians in our modern world as illustrated by the number of streets in Dover where parking on the pavement is the accepted norm.
