19:1869198i seem to have more and more of the above in my junk mail each day.
all the usual stuff from high street banks wanting me to confirm my account no; and sort code, the district council wanting to give out a council tax rebate, that nigerian chap that wants me to give him a few bob so that he can claim the throne of his tribe, after which i am guaranteed a million or so quid etc etc.
nowadays i just look at the title then delete, this morning one caught my eye, it stated "monster manhood".
why would anyone think i would be interested in purchasing an out sized anorak?

19:2869210I`m sure you made an error above Howard with your anger at junk emails, but banks don`t send emails requesting confirmation of account number`s and sort codes.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

19:5169220I don`t get any junk emails whatsoever with Virgin or with NTL before the takeover Brian. My bank clearly states on many document`s that they will never ask for my account number or other bank details. My bank also states that they will not be responsible for any messages sent to them by email, as it`s not a guaranteed secure way of sending information, but I`d like to read BarryW`s view`s on all this.

20:0169225Guessed so Howard. Mind you, I should imagine you could have some good fun with ridiculous replies. I did send an application for a loan once in my wife`s name for a million pound`s. She wasn`t working at the time, but it was the days in the 90s when everyone wanted you to borrow, and endless junkmail through the letterbox. I`m still awaiting confirmation for the loan.

20:3169235Colin, I get loads of virgins in my junk emails. You don't know what you're missing mate.
Can't beat a good spam fritter, erm, oops sorry, spam filter.

21:0369246It's all junk? Really? Nobody ever told me. I thought it was all real and I reply to everything. I have more bank accounts that I knew possible, and much to my delight some completely unknown individuals keep spending it for me. Saves me the hassle of spending it I guess. I have won fortunes on web based casinos, I have a cupboard full of various medications, I enjoy about 47 Russian brides, and I have the biggest penis this side of the western world and enough Viagra to keep it in tip top condition for years.
Honestly, you guys deleting it all are missing out on so much!

21:1569252Colin if you log on to the Virgin Media Customer homepage and go into your e mail section you will probably find all your spam in a nice little 'Spam folder' in your 'Bin' section there. I use Outlook for e mail which is linked to my Virgin account and I also have a spam filter on that so I never see 99% of the junk. When Virgin made some changes to their set up recently I couldn't figure out why I had two days without any email at all. Had everyone stopped talking to me? No, it was all there until I reconfigured it. The amount of spam is astonishing, around 700-1000 per week.

22:5069263Makes me chuckle every time one or two appear for accounts i do not have and also the many spelling variations they do to get past the filters, surely there must be a legit way to channel all that energy...perhaps they are taking their own meds....

Oh Boy!, That'll be the day.........

11:4969321Thank you Jeane, I don`t think I`ll bother though. I`ll stick to just viewing the 9 or 10 emails I receive a week.
