- 13 February 2012 16:40153318#7 Yes Sue, I was due to take part in the Deal Half. Everything was looking good right up to the last minute then the snow came from nowhere. The organisers (and runners) were extremely disappointed as they had no choice but to cancel, the course became too dangerous. Then a couple of hours later it rained and melted the fresh snow! Such bad timing and rotten luck. Just waiting to hear if they are able to rearrange it.
