Smoking ban reduces heart attacks
- 12 June 2010 08:0356072Coming online this morning, I`m confronted with another dreary news item on yahoo, this time telling us, that research suggests that people admitted to hospital at weekends, are more likely to die than one`s admitted on weekdays. Lets hope that any of the researcher`s ever falling ill, ensure it`s at weekends, and get rid of the lot of them, and make sure the five a day brigade are with them!! They need to get a life, and get of their lazy arses and do some real work for a living....... Good morning fellow members, and may I wish you all a pleasant day, a long life, and no researcher`s, survey`s to tell you all otherwise.Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

Which - to continue to berate you smokers out there - is why I don't like being expected to take in other peoples toxins when I breathe in, even in the street. And when there were places that catered for smokers/non-smokers seperately, it was always, nearly always, the non-smokers who capitulated and visited the smoking places to be with mixed groups of friends which contained both smokers and non. Being a smoker and sitting on a stall all day in Pencester, when I eventually got a break I had a nice ciggie near the church and then wandered into the 8 Bells for what I thought was a nice bite to eat and a couple of real ales.
NO CHANCE. From the second I walked in to the time I left, football ringing in my ear holes and 2 giant screens poking in my face.
I finished my meal and left.
NOW thats what I call anti social.

Holiday time for the students and staff is the buisiest time for me with very little time off and family visiting.
