This is the new Portuguese restaurant on London road in what used to be Little Rascals.

I visited the other day to try it out, the chef and the owner are lovely very welcoming and the service was fantastic.

The main menu is fairly basic and to be honest a little safe but very competitively priced at £3 for starters, deserts and baguettes and £5 for mains, the only Portuguese dish on this is the Piri Piri chicken. However it is on the daily specials priced at either £5 or £8 where one sees the Portuguese influence come to the fore, I had the Haddock Portuguese style, which was not only a very generous portion but also very tasty, with flambéed bananas and ice cream for desert.

Overall probably a 3 out of 5 - but for price alone it is certainly worth a visit
