    Indeed Howard!

I am pleased to report it was a resounding success. We raised £593.50! This was split equally between the two charities so the proceeds to Children with Leukaemia and the MS Society are £296.75 each. It was really good fun and I would highly recommend it as a way to raise money for charity.

I would like to thank all the local businesses who supported us as mentioned in my last posting
    PMC in Castle Street
Country Brides of Faversham, also in Castle Street
Hollis Motors on Crabble Hill (sponsoring 2 races)
Sally Reeve of Cambridge Weight Plan Centre in Dour Street
    Modern Gent
Absolute Graphix of Swanton Farm Lydden
Tony's Fish Bar in London Road

I must give a mention to Paul Grew the race night organiser as he was fabulous, really professional, and helped us to raise so much money on the night so he certainly paid for himself. We certainly could not have done it without him or raised anything like as much money http://www.paulsracenights.co.uk/ (hope Paul B doesn't mind the plug!)

Obviously Heather and I would also like to thank each and every person who turned up and parted with their money for such great causes and helped to make the event such a success. Special thanks also go to all those who donated raffle prizes, particularly Tony Jayms of Modern Gent and my future sister-in-law Kim Allen who both donated numerous prizes, and to my brilliant father-in-law Roy Jones for organising and running the raffle as well as making up two beautiful fruit baskets for the raffle which proved very popular.

Finally we would like to thank Barbara, Oliver and Val for allowing us to rope them into running the tote desk at the last minute, they did a marvellous job and we could not have managed without their help.

Also just to mention our fundraising pages are still open for donations for anyone who has said they will sponsor us and not quite got round to it yet, and also for those who maybe wanted to come and couldn't.

The race cards the other side with the race details, not sure how easy it is to see but all the races are named after the businesses who sponsored them and their contact details are included

Me relieved it's all over but can't resist showing off my medal again!!
