Just wanted to say thanks to Graham Tuthill for a really good write up in this week's Mercury about my marathon fundraising!
The Race Night is going ahead this Saturday, will be a good turnout. As well as 8 races and a game of bingo we also have a raffle. We have had some fantastic raffle prizes donated including:
2 Senseo Coffee Machines, a Sodastream machine, Sony Ericsson LiveView, Beverly Hills Chihuahua (Blu-Ray), M&S sunglasses,£20 Love2shop vouchers, Now 78 CD, family ticket to The Canterbury Tales, wine, chocolates and a silk scarf! Thank you to everyone who has been so generous.
A few local businesses have also offered their support by making a donation to sponsor some of the races. For this they will get advertising during the event and their contact details are being printed on the race tickets. Heather and I are very grateful for their generosity.
We still have a few tickets left, £8 per person or £28 per group of 4, including fish and chip supper but please bring your own drink. 7.30pm start.
