- 20 January 2022 20:46374259A quarter done now after many nights and days working on it ,when it is done it and others will be sold off and the money will go to the Parkinsons which my great wife has .There is a very good group in Dover which volunteers run and thank them for the work they put into the running of it meet each week . Reginald Barrington likes this - 11 February 2022 08:57374694A friend of ours has now ,with the help of my wife sewing around the edging of the rug is now done that was a big help in making it but still not half done in the making of the rug .but must say it is looking good the backing cannot be done till the rug is completed and we are still a year or more away before that is done.

- 16 March 2022 08:34375578Well we are getting there it looking ok if you have spare time I do recommend you try this out for yourself if you have not done one before,try a small one first that will set you back about £25 and not hard to do then if you like making it take it from there.As I said I hope to sale them off at one point with funds going to the Parkinson charity ,it is our AGM this morning up at the Whitfield Village hall at 1030 if you have parkingsons or know someone that does please come along and see for yourself the good work that the volunteers do. - 9 April 2022 03:21376226I am hoping some one will put photos of them on the forum ,they are on sale with all the money going to Parkinson,s sorry they are not cheap because of the cost of making them and buying the kits all from overseas.they will be on sale from £100 upwards but all money made will go the charity.I will not take out any funding for the buying or making of them.
