such a pity that 4 events(that i know of) on the same day.
the royal marines band, western heights open day,battle of britain memorial service and river country fayre.
looking out now there is some blue sky.

Excellent afternoon.
Storms threatened but passed over.
Fly past by spitfire & I think a hurricane.
Usual very large crowd which were provided with a varied musical programme from military marches, big band sounds ,west end musical selection, Barry Manilow medley ,all prior to re-dedication service and concluding with Last Night of Proms medley.
A veritable treat.

A superb event, amazingly talented musicians and a huge very patriotic crowd, a credit to everyone involved.
