With all these political posts to contribute to on here it's no wonder this breaking news is not worthy of a mention!
My best wishes to our royals that everything goes smoothly. Especially to the future king/queen lets all hope he/she is happy and healthy.

Let us hope that all babies born today, and pretty much every day, and their respective mothers are all assured of a better future...

Careful what you wish for Tom, not sure you'd have appreciated Mrs Thatcher as head of state

I've met Witchell in person. He is knee-high to a grasshopper and covered in freckles.

What's that Peter? If they throw a nappy around him he could do an in-cot interview?
Nothing lasts forever David:be it tolerated for five years or five hundred years, everything must pass.

Considering that Nicholas Witchell was suited and booted within minutes of the announcement I can only assume that he was shacked up at a nearby hotel at our expense for the last week.

Tom, agreed, but the alternative to the monarchy is awful.

There is much to discuss David, and the conversation cannot be put off indefinitely.
I'm sure this one child and its parents will find work...many do.

In your opinion Alexander.
Personally I am fed up hearing about the whole thing and probably like the Duchess wish the birth was over and done with, this subject completely dominated Sky News this morning.

This baby should be allowed to live a normal life, like one among many, and should not be brought up to believe he/she will be the "head of the Country", the "head of the Government", the "head of everything".
