Hello my father was Arthur Thomas Wells, youngest child of Robert William Wells and I am trying to add to the familys history notes.

Dads family also included William who played Cricket, but for who ?
Edward (died on the Curacoa, believe he won cups for swimming
Herbert worked on trams, believe raced pigeons
    Frederick William served in Egypt
Winifred married a Frank Lewis and lived in walmer
probably the most well known was Margart who served many years with the girlss brigade.

I know Robert William for a time was a fishmonger but does anyone know where,

my father worked for hudsons photographers then for parker pen and edited there in house magazine, and played cricket and football for them. in the 1950's he had a connection with the St. Mary's old boys association as secretary ,being involved with a memorial book, trying to find school records with no luck. between approx 52-53 and 54-55 he was a referee mainly in kent league 2. I wonder if anyone may have a family member who played at that time in that League. his biggest game was on the line at Crabble for the 1954 game with Tottenham A , I have a full photocopied programme and press report on this game...... but wonder if other programmes exist locally. he kept no records, and retained little memory of where he officiated, and recalled at Whitstable , RM Deal, in the middle at Snowdon , and also mentioned some JUNIOR type FINAL on lower pitch at Crabble, but surprisingly to me he never did Folkestone. can anyone clarify the teams in that final for instance

    Thank you
