20:1283974I knew of a certain parish council that arranged things so their friends got in to replace anyone who left, the doors were mysteriously jammed if someone else showed an interest in joining this parish council.
Vic is desperately trying to get a seat on something somewhere other than a bus.

Shoehorning your mates in at parish council level (officially known as co-opting) shouldn't happen these days, when someone resigns anyone of the electorate can ask for an election to be called. I hope Vic isn't saying above that he tried to stop this happening in River so he could get in unopposed, very undemocratic

And I was stop today and a member of the public and his wife came over to me ,and said"Vic we vote for you each time but only because it is you,you are always there at each poll and just keep trying and going on what ever is said about you, And I have had that said before ,,That I have put life back into the voteing box in Dover and the local paper, And inreturn I say "Thank you because that is what I set out to do.Get the Public Voting again
