It's not an emergency. Merely a bit of a pain. So I resubmitted under "Overgrown weeds".

I know what you mean, I had the same problem when I reported the overgrown trees in Maison Dieu opposite Morrisons. Why should I have to phone them (I didn't BTW) when they could easily have a flagged system for important issues on their KCC page.
The trees were cut in about three weeks so not to bad as KCC had to contact the site owners for the work to be done.
