Maggie did the most damage ever to the working man /woman ANd still we live through the mistakes she made.
To name a few
1; weakening trade unions to try to make them in effective thankfully trade unions
learnt how to modernise and still work for the employees they represented
as a modern trade unionist i wouldnt want to go back to those early days of
strikes etc, but maggie went to far and now we see employers just sacking
people when they feel fit, and abusing workforces.
Thankfully we have such things as the minimum wAGE which has helped,
But iv warned before on here we are heading back to the victorian days of
begging for a job, not something that will inspire workforces of the future
2; Right to buy, a complete failure for councils, (carried on by labour) selling off
the nicer council houses, now councils are left with only the houses they
coudn't sell, and a big, big housing waiting list, which will get bigger and
bigger because the council has less and less council homes for them.
