Dear all,
You've probably heard that the White Cliffs Landscape Partnership
scheme has been successful in securing their bid from funds from the
Heritage Lottery Fund. Please find a newsletter (produced before the
news they were successful) for back ground.
This is a quick note to clear up a little confusion - this bid has not
been made by WCCP. We will be a partner in delivering some of the
projects but The Up on the Downs Project exisits completely seperately
and has been developed and managed by Richard Haynes who is employed
by DDC and funded by the whole partnership, which includes lots of
people NT, KCC, KWT etc etc.
I thought it was important to manage expectations, whilst WCCP will
get to deliver some exciting projects that wouldn't be possible
without this bid, we won't have £2.4 million to play with. Anyway if
your interested in finding out more about this project and are not
already on the mailing list just let me know and I can forward your
details on to them.
