I've just been sent an email from someone saying that she was told not to bother with the Priory Forum because of all the in-fighting and politics. Well as the PF is currently just a handful of likeminded people I don't think this is an accurate picture anymore. I appreciate that in the "old days" political lines were drawn and that there were battles but that was before I joined and so we need to move on.

We're holding this meeting tonight because there is some grant money left over from the alleyways clean up and it needs to be spent on something similar else we'll lose it. And also to discuss the proposed coffee morning which Ryan, our PCSO, has been gauging feeling for. He says that there is a willingness to get together socially but no one wants to make that first move. Maybe this can help start something positive. If it doesn't then at least we can say we tried.

We haven't been as "in your face" as we would have liked this year but that's because of personal issues getting in the way rather than apathy.
