    If I remember, KCC said it would be too expensive to implement for the benefits perceived.
    They would want to do their own survey too, which would cost quite a bit - yes I hear every one say, "we've already done that".

    Another argument was, that if traffic was only one-way, it would encourage "boy-racers" (of any age) to drive along there too fast and with no play-area close by, children sometimes do play in the road.

    I didn't realise the fact this hasn't come into being, was being laid at the feet of the Priory Forum and that's why local people don't come to meetings anymore - hardly fair when it was pushed as hard as it can be; KCC make the decision, we might make a recommendation for them to pick-up I grant you, but if their professional opinion is a NO, then there is very little we can do.
