There was no illusion it will make jobs,in fact already doing it there will more then the 600jobs when it is all done.When business and companys,from outside Dover start seeing the town grow they to will want to move here bring even more jobs and needed cash and more of the public.Its a win ,win, all the way for Dover.
Years ago this was just a dream but it is now going to happen, as I am getting on in years now I might not be around to see it all happen.
But just to be at the start of it will make me die a happy man.
Its time to put all this infighting and shouting about who is right and who is wrong and all groups and the pubic get behind the councils and the D,H,B, and help them to turn Dover into a town we can all be proud of.
I do not care if you hate or dislike me so do not wast your time by keep on running me down ,its is not about me it is about your town and district .yes the D.H.B. have not all ways got it right and like yourself I was very upset when they got rid of their own very good workforce they were good tradesmen I know because I worked with them and some were my work mates.But again that is all behind the port now, and the ones running the port are not same members that were there then .
The D.H.B. as it is now, does take in what it has been told by both the councils and public and they are bending over backwards to help and bring both the Town and the port closer with each other.And it is working so as I said join up with them and make a mark in history that will be there for ever.
