  The town would become a laughing stock again, whilst all around the coast councils and voluntary groups are fighting for funding to their piers to effect repairs. We have a perfectly good one enjoyed by locals and visitors alike and grade 2 listed yet the vandals at DHB are planning to dismantle it and put the furniture somewhere else eventually. The vast majority of people know what they are up to and are not taken by the projected waterfront development that is offered as a bait to stop protesting.
